"Nope." Allison muttered, "Not since I was little and they beat the crap outta us, and since my brother became the leader."

"I'm sorry you're stuck doing something you don't like." Cedric said.

((Bliss and Markus?))

"Eh, you gotta do what you gotta do right?" Allison asked, "I just have to murder people."

Bliss sat in Markus's cat texting, "Where are you taking me?" She asked in a high-pitched annoying voice.

Cedric chuckled. "What a strange way of putting it. Most hunters I've come in contact with claim that they're doing it for the good of humanity."

"To dinner." Markus stated.

"Did they ever tell what happens when you try to get our of it? Especially if your a Alexander?" Allison asked.




"Oh! Are we going to Block 182?" Bliss asked excitedly.

((Hey, can we move them to Manhattan instead of litttle old Washington? o.o))

((Let's say they live in that area. Like the New York, New Jersey area.))

"No. Why would they do that? I'm the scum of the earth, remember." Cedric stated.

"No I was going to take you to a different place." Markus replied.

Bliss scoffed and rolled her eyes, "It better be nice." She muttered under her breath. She began texting again.



((I just noticed, Cedric has very thin lips. ))

Allison nodded, "Right... Right. Well why couldn't you be like that one coven? There vampires who hunt Vampires. George, Ilana, Dominic, Aaron? It's kinda wierd cause there all different races, not that I'm racist. It just looks funny cause me and Markus look a lot like our parents. And then there's Mel."

Markus sighed inwardly. He often wondered why he dated Bliss. She was just a spoiled rotten princess. "I'm sure it is." He replied.

Cedric shrugged. 'I suppose you could say I'm one of those live and let live types. That's why I became a surgeon." He stated. "Who is Mel?"

"My Cousin, or sister, it depends on how you look at it." Allison sighed and looked out the window, "Her parent's died in a car "accident"." Allison replied, "She's been living with us sinx I was six, it's strange. Markus adapted, me? not so much."


Bliss glared at Markus, he was just a downer.

"Ah. I see." Cedric replied. "So you have a brother and a cousin that live with you." He said.

Markus looked over at Bliss and smiled. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing, just that Matti and Jake are at Block 182." Bliss replied.



"Yeah. That's it, she's the same age as me, but she could never brush my hair... to curly." Allison replied playing with a lock of her stright blond-ish hair.

"Oh. Would you rather go there?" Markus asked.

"Really? What was that like? Having her come into the family?" Cedric asked.

"She is really quiet, the first few weeks she acted like she didn't even belong, but her family and mine were close, cause most of our aunts died." Allison said sighing. "We saw her every Christmas and Thanksgiving."

"If th place your not taking me isn't nice, than were going to Block 182kay?" Bliss said.

"It sounds like she may not have known you very well." Cedric replied.

"Why on earth do you always want to go there?" Markus asked.

"Duh, Jake and Mattie are there." Bliss replied. She scoffed, "Markus you don't know anything, jeez."



"Yeah.. but I manage." Allison mumbled.

'You're right. I don't. I spend most of my time working. This is the first evening I've had off this year." Markus replied.

Cedric pulled the car off onto a road leading toward the beach. "Do you like the beach?"

((You get like 100's of people and they just stop at a certain time.. The whole group. In some busy public place. I would show you.. but it's on youtube ))


"Exactly." Bliss said, "Should've gone to college.."



Allison shrugged, "Yeah. Sure." Allison said with a smile, "I haven't been there since I was little."

((Oh ok))

"I tried. They wouldn't let me." Markus stated.

"Really? Why not?" Cedric asked.

Allison showed him her wrist again, 'Simple as that."


"Why didn't they?" Bliss asked.

"I suppose that would tend to upset going to the beach. When do you hunt the most?" Cedric asked.

"Because Dad retired as soon as I was 18. I had to take over the family business." Markus replied.

"You could both." Bliss muttered.




Allison looked at him like he was dumb, "At night. duh." Allison muttered.
"But we had to go through training in elementary, hunting from 8th grade on while balancing our own normal lives as if we don't do anything at night.''

"I suppose you have no clue about how much work running the VHA is. I doubt I would do well in college and manage the VHA." Markus said rolling his eyes.

"Really? Only at night? You do realize that we can go out in day light right?" Cedric replied.

"You can?" Allison asked, "Most of you hunt at night I bet." She said nodding.
"And besides, I have school in the day. I'm a senior."


"Make Allison run it." Bliss snapped. "Don't roll your eyes at me."

"Yeah. We can go out during the day. It doesn't affect us too much. Not in any way you can tell." Cedric stated. He parked the car. "The beach is down the hill." He said getting out of the car and walking to the trunk. He pulled out a blanket and walked to Allison's side of the car and opened the door.

"I can't do that. She's still in high school." Markus said.
