"Azrael, if she thought we were all bloodsucking parasites would she be here at this very moment?" Cedric asked. "Besides I don't consider us to be that way."

"Well you can't live in a fantasy world the whole time Cedric, that's what we are." Azrael replied.

"Do you think I live in some kind of fantasy world?" Cedric asked. "I know what we are. Trust me I do. I choose to be something different. I am painfully aware of what we are."

"Then stop acting like were normal humans... were not." Azrael hissed before dissapearing upstairs again.

Cedric sighed. "Azrael isn't taking this well." He said softly.

Ilana walked into the hotel room and took her hair down. It had been pinned under a wig which she'd removed when she left the casino. She sighed and reached into her purse. "I managed to get about 1000 tonight." She said.

"I can tell." Allison replied.


"1070 here." George said.
"2 bucks!" Aaron exclaimed.

"5,000." Dominic said. Plopping the money on the table.

"Aaron, how did you only get 2 dollars?" Ilana asked.

Cedric sighed. "I knew this would be difficult." He said. "Maybe she'll warm up to you."

"I'm bad at gambling?" He replied.



Allison nodded.

Ilana sighed. "Perhaps we should just make him a look out for Dominic?" She suggested.

Cedric smiled at Allison. "Are you alright?" He asked.

George shrugged.



Allison nodded, "I get yelled at a lot."

Ilana sighed. "Well anyway, maybe it would be better if you got a legitimate job. I mean honestly." She said laughing. "2.00? Although I have to wonder, how much did you win and how much did you spend?"

Cedric sighed. "That doesn't mean that you're alright with being yelled at." He replied.

Azrael ran out the door into the rain, running past all the people and to school.

"I don't mind." Allison said, a tear rolling down her cheek.

Cedric shook his head and wiped the tear from her cheek. "I think you do." He said.

((No reply for Aaron?))

((I don't wanna play him.))


Allison shook her head, "No I really am, I'm just over emotional right now, I'm not into 4 months.. not just yet."

((Okay...I'm going to say the Amory's live in the area.))

Fred walked into the school and sighed. He was relieved to be back at school. He hated being at home and he hated having to travel to the VHA headquarters. He walked to his first class and sat at his usual desk and pulled out his math book. He was more advanced in math than the rest of the class simply because he'd been using it in hunting.

Cedric nodded. "I know. I just don't want you to become more emotionally wounded than you already were." He said and kissed her.

Azrael hissed when she saw Fred, and he was right by her desk. She shook, she hadn't hunted in weeks, and her eyes were already starting to turn red at her pupils. Azrael sighed and skipped over to her seat, looking straight forward so she couldn't see anyones neck. She played with the girls hair infront of her, then kept it over her neck.



Another tear came down, "No no it's okay, honest."

Fred looked up as the vampire walked into the classroom and sighed. Of course he smelled like a hunter. Why wouldn't she be upset. He really hated his job.

Cedric hugged Allison and stroked her hair. "I know." Ah hormones

Allison sighed and rested her forhead on Cedric's shoulder.



Azrael glanced at Fred then shook, she wasn't too happy.
"Fred, Azrael you guys are partners." Mr. Mcyale stated, still a little wierded out about her name.
Azrael slowly turned her head to Fred and sighed, "Fine.." She mumbled.

Cedric continued to stroke her hair.


Fred nodded. Of course. Pair me with the vampire who will probably kill me because of my profession. He turned to Azrael. "Hello, I'm Fred." He said holding his hand out and smiling.

Azrael only glared, "I know.. Fred Amory, I know your father... unpleasantly." Azrael muttered, "I'm Azrael.... Clarke."

"Ah yes my father. Wonderful guy isn't he?" Fred replied sarcastically. "Don't worry I'm not like that. I actually don't like his line of work."

Azrael's expession didn't change until she abruptly covered her nose and took her chocket off, "put this on before I expose us both.'" She hissed.

"I take it you're having a slight problem?" Fred asked. "Do you need a drink?"

Allison nodded slowly, "Put it on!" She snapped.
